Triassic to deliver a course on Environmental Forensics at Rutgers University on October 7, 2010

Gil Oudijk, Senior Hydrogeologist and Environmental Forensics Expert at Triassic Technology, Inc. and Dr. Michael J. Wade, Principal Scientist of Wade Research, Inc. deliver a course on Environmental Forensics at Rutgers University on October 7, 2010.  The emerging scientific discipline of ‘Environmental Forensics’ has become a practical method for determining who is responsible for instances of pollution.  In Particular, it plays a key role in assisting with the development of contaminated sites by cutting the cost of associated legal proceedings and reducing the time required to reach negotiated settlements between those involved. Whether for regulatory compliance or for proving responsibility in the courtroom, forensics plays an important role in attaching liability to hundreds of sites each year.

This one-day program will address the different methods used to age date contamination events, that is, to determine the date when these problems first began.
